I audit the cannabis industry. There’s potential but you definitely have to be willing to do the work. If they’re looking to IPO, you’re going to be very busy

Originally interviewed for Community Relations Coordinator for set asking salary of $65k. Now owner wants to change title to Branch Manager, increased responsibilities, but primarily still CRC role. Same salary and now will decrease to $50k after one year with an increasing commission rate. The idea behind this is motivation to earn more than set salary. At this point, I need the income and am not planning on staying longer than the year, if that. Is it worth negotiating? Any advice welcome.

I asked for revised compensation from infosys based on parallel offer letter and got below response:
Compensation is determined for various roles, based on the competency and the experience a candidate comes in with. We also look at ensuring parity amongst any other internal employee with similar competency.  Considering these facts, we will not be in position to change compensation.
Please advise how to negotiate further.

Hi Fishes
Recently I have an offer from a very large MNC/product company as a lead analyst role. My current company wants to retain me and offered a very senior role in the UK.
Should I take the offer or stick to my decision to move to the MNC?
I was not actively looking for an opportunity so couldn't say much for the reason for a change.
Newly offered CTC - 22.5 LPA at my home town.
Current company is yet to make an offer for the UK role (what should be my expectation?)
9.5 years of exp.

Honest thoughts on best qualifications to go after to break into PE from consulting - should I go after ACA/CFA/CAIA? I feel I’ve only got the patience to do one of these 😂

Switched to industry from audit about 2 months ago and it’s been worse than expected. Made sure to do my due diligence asking about flexibility, work life balance, etc. and everything has been worse than what I was told. Talked to one of my old recruiters and they said this job is already showing red flags this early and should consider getting out before I’m in too deep and can just leave this off my resume. Any experience/advice with this kind of situation?
