How would this play out during conflict check: Had a Chase credit card default during law school. Collection agency filed suit in small claims as Chase bank’s assignee. Settled very quickly and voluntarily dismissed by collection agency. Potential firm has presented/is representing Chase in matters. Is this going to be an issue? Will new firm need a waiver from chase? What are the chances of rescinding offer?
