Not Montréal but I go to Canada often (Toronto) and get pcr testing at urgentway

If you’re near an NYC H+H go to one of those they have super fast turnaround and it’s a regular PCR! I’ve gotten tests at p much every place and theyre by far the fastest

Awesome, thanks both!!

Travel to Canada regularly both before and after the border opening. OneMedical is the way to go for testing in NYC.

Isn’t One Medical membership based only? Or did they open PCR testing beyond the membership

Why would this differ from going to the usual spots for covid testing? E.g. citymd or the mobile vans?

Yeah, that’s the thing. You have to have the test within 72 hours of the flight, which means ideally results within 24 hours so you can input them into the ArriveCAN app, hence why I ask! I usually go to cityMD but last time it took them 5 days to get results :/

Any ideas that people have on how to network/break into circles of tech startups? Long story short, joined a tech Fortune 500 company a little over a year ago as an entry level analyst and things have gone downhill with COVID (limited growth here but got exposure). Looking to start new with a startup as I grew tired of the ethics of a larger corp. I have no network as it stands in tech startups, don't come from a target school (although I graduated with honors) and at a loss of where to start.

What type of self help strategies do individuals actually find helpful when you feel burn out or stuck in a rut? Any books, apps, meditation, podcasts, etc, others find helpful? I've done therapy and it has definitely helped this past year with covid and a marriage separation, starting to feel like I'm making progress and want to keep up the momentum. Looking to see what type of self help others find actually beneficial and would love to use that to help others stuck in burn out too

MAGA friends, why does every conversation with you about COVID and the US Covid response include a claim that it’s China’s fault? Let’s say I grant your premise. How does COVID being China’s fault make the Trump response seemingly better? There are a number of things the president has to respond to that he did not directly cause - are you suggesting we don’t want someone capable of responding to events they did not have a hand in crafting?

Anyone mind sharing their average monthly electricity (kWh) usage since covid? I’m in southern CA, 2k sq ft house w/pool, 2 adults working from home (no kids). Summer months are around 1,700 kWh; other 9-10 months average around 400 kWh. We replaced HVAC post-summer and hope to see improvement this summer. Thanks in advance.

Quick vent: fiancé and I were going to put an offer in on an apartment we loved before all of this Covid stuff happened but changed that plan to rent to buy starting Aug to be safer. The sellers just told us they accepted someone else’s offer to buy. We, especially me, were in love with the apartment but we were too risk adverse to buy now bc if Covid and fiancé working at a startup that had layoffs in the beginning. Just sad bc we’ve been looking for two years and this was the perfect place.
