I just got blue light filtering prescription glasses this summer and I've noticed a decrease in the amount of time it takes me to fall asleep.
I have blue light protection on my prescription classes and use blue light glasses often when wearing my contacts - my optometrist has seen a decrease is the change of my eyes each year.
Yes, they do help!
Just got some last week, so far my headaches and eye strain have definitely decreased.
I have blue light glasses that I use at home. For under the fluorescent lights, if they give you migraines, you want the rose colored glasses that are specifically made for the lights. I also bought the fabric light covers that have magnets in them to stick to the ceiling tile frames. I never use all of my lights, so I have them in the 3 main lights in the room and my headaches have been cut down significantly.
My glasses are blue light reducing. I have definitely noticed a difference over the last 18 months. And now that I'm constantly looking at a computer monitor, I expected the migraines to start up, but I haven't even had a headache related to screen time. But get a pair of prescription sunglasses too. The blue light glasses make you more photosensitive. A bright sunny day without my sunglasses sets me up for a migraine now.
I have had a marked improvement in my tension headaches. The eye strain is no longer as bad as before the without the blue filter.
