Hi Fishes, I have offers from PwC(risk advisory) and IBM(app development). Thing is that the PwC joining is at Kolkata location but I don't want to go there and stay. There is not much difference between the offers in terms of package(10 & 10.4). Can I ask PwC to provide WFH or change my office location for this? Deloitte EY PwC KPMG

Club Pilates is great! They have classes at different levels so you can move up once you get in the groove of it
Thank you, that’s helpful to know!
I did Club Pilates and found that they had discounted rates on Groupon. Try Groupon first. Sort of, try before you buy.
I don’t have experience with these particular programs, but I’ve been able to do Pilates at many different levels of fitness and could always modify it to what my body could handle.
Done both. Very similar. I have zero flexibility or stamina lol but I survived. Try them both for free and sign up for the one you like
I’ve been to both studios and practiced yoga and Pilates for many years. While the two disciplines are different, the experiences are Corepower and Club Pilates are going to be really different, in my experience.
Corepower is generally less traditional and will frequently move at a quicker pace and incorporate weights. Club Pilates will be a more traditional Pilates experience, which will probably translate to slower transitions, more focus on breath and core stability. I’ve found I’ll work up a sweat at Corepower but generally leave Pilates feeling stronger and more energized.
I think it’s really a matter of personal preference!
Core Power Yoga is best option. My first experience attending class was more relaxing and focus. I started signing up for Hot Fusion Power yoga which is so fun than I anticipated. I lost weight, my skin was glowing and I ate a lot better. It’s all more than just physical activity but mental as well. I think you should try speaking with an instructor and ask about their goals then you can determine if it fits what you’re looking for. Do a free trial, I hope this helps. Good luck!
Club Pilates usually offers one free class. You can go and see if you like it. I loved it the first time, and signed up for membership right away. After a while the classes weren’t as challenging as I wanted. Even the level II classes started feeling easy. I stayed for three months then switched over to a more intense full body studio.
CorePower yoga is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I used to be a complete couch potato before I started CorePower yoga and now I find that I have a healthier mind and body because of this class. It completely changed my body and especially my poor posture in just a few weeks. I will say - it IS demanding so you have to make sure to PREPARE before the class. If you prepare and listen to your body during the class (I.e. don’t feel bad if you need to exit class for a bit during the practice…it gets hot!) you will be fine. Make sure to not eat anything 2 hours before the class, and hydrate 1 hour before class with Liquid IV (a great electrolyte powder sold at CVS/Walgreens that you put in your water to increase hydration). Also bring a water bottle during class.
I personally didn’t enjoy Core Power because the music is not great. I have greatly enjoyed Y7 as they have themed classes (Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Ladies of Hip Hop), and they give me a better workout according to my Fitbit than CorePower. I also really enjoy the teachers at Y7 more than CP and I’ve become friends with more ppl at Y7.
Try different places and stick to it for a couple of weeks - whatever will work for you will be what you enjoy more and will motivate you to go more.
I did Club Pilates and I second the comments of HRBP1. It wasn’t flexible enough to continue to be interesting and challenging. I hired a personal trainer.
