You’re probably better off asking for a bonus that doing that.

Agree with A2. If you ask for bonus, without mentioning the other firm, they will know why (since you would not ask if you didn’t have something else). However, your firm will likely say no because if they give it to you they have to give it to others.

I have an offer with IBM - 18 lpa fixed and cognizant - 23lpa (22.3 lpa fixed). I asked IBM to revise the offer to match the counter, but they rejected it. Even though knowing the peanut you’re going to offer is way below Candidate’s current salary, why are you still processing for further interviews? I had cleared all rounds and BGV documents also submitted 3 weeks ago. HR called for some workday step completion and salary discussion 2 weeks back and told that she'd call after 3 days. Since then no call/updates and for my followup mails too. Should I still hope to receive an offer letter?

Hello Network, I recently got an offer interest from Moody's Corporation for Sr Systems Engineer position. They gave me good hike from my current salary, but I would like to know more about how average annual hike, perks and salary standard at Moody's to decide weather I should just accept the offer and ready myself to join or try to look for other job offers to renegotiate before joining. Need advice please. Current mid-level and even though I receive great reviews, keep getting pigeon-holed into only covering junior tasks. When I first lateraled, I was vocal about wanted to take on more mid/senior work, but it’s yet to happen.
