i’m going on a mushroom medicine retreat this fall and really looking forward to it.

i have had nothing but positive experiences with mdma as well, though i’ve only taken that recreationally.

I heard about one in Jamaica. With new decrim laws in Oregon and SF I’m interested …

Nah but I'm about to try it. I hear microdosing is super helpful

Shrooms are wonderful for my depression! I trip hard once every couple of months and the “happiness” stays with me for a few days

Yes, I've actually found using psychedelics can help my symptoms and help me cope with what's going on in my life.

My separate experiences with LSD and MDMA have changed my life for the better. Always test your drugs and dose responsibly in a good set and setting, but they are definitely great tools in the toolbox.

Yes. Psychedelics have a way of healing the mind in ways that no other medications can.

I have found mushrooms to be life changing. My mushroom trips are delightful, hilarious, and also sometimes deeply deeply thoughtful, and sometimes I have a complete anxiety attack -

for that latter possibility, I recommend having an emergency Xanax on hand, and only eating mushrooms in a safe space to begin with - that is, with people you are very close and comfortable with, in a physical space where can be free to act as you wish, and with plenty of time and no deadlines ahead, no schedule to keep.

But back to the good stuff, I find mushrooms to enable a problem solving mechanism in myself that lets me find answers to longstanding nagging questions that I've been asking myself and blocked from resolving.

Not sure it's directly related to ADHD but I am ADHD fwiw and....yes you should give it a try. Safely. Always be careful. Less is more and don't go it alone.

The clarity and relief and calm approach to life DOES last for quite a while afterwards.

Do you generally mix Xanax and shrooms? How does that go?

I created a bowl to talk about psychedelics

I have never tried any of these. I am far too nervous to try any illegal drugs I jsut feel liek I would have a terrible experience and would regret doing it in the first plae.

Hi Folks,

Need Advice.

I have 9.6 years of exp and have cleared technical round. HR has offered 17.45 as fixed for team lead role.

Since I am holding an offer of 21 fixed. I had requested Accenture to match the same. They denied as it is out of budget for team lead. Post this I had received call from another hr and was informed I will have to give another technical round for associate manager role.
1. What is the max range for team lead role
2. Advice on what should I do next ?

Does anyone have a list of the things (food, drink, other OTC meds) that make adderall less effective? I know I can simple google search and ask my doctor but want to hear other peoples thoughts…I love drinking my coffee to wake me up in the morning but I’m afraid it’s making my meds less bc of its acidic nature 😵

Has anyone else tried Strattera, had success, and a few months later felt like work was a struggle again? Am I imagining it? There are reasons why I should not take stimulants, but I miss that feeling of being a “regular” person at work and so am curious if others have had a similar journey and where you all ended up

Any advice for asking to work from home?
I started my job just over a month ago and the one day a week I work from home I absolutely love. I have an hour commute to the office all other days and I'd love to even just get one more day at home. My manager is not aware of my adhd and I have crippling fear and shame around it so I'd rather not tell him. The office environment I'm in is honestly any neuroduvergent's nightmare. I know it's probably wrong to not tell him but I don't want any judgement.

Anyone here struggle with drinking enough water every day? Growing up, I drank a lot of soda and fruit juices but since 2020, I’ve been trying to be one of those people who always has a water bottle. They say you drink some when you first wake up but I never have a taste for it and then never remember to start drinking until about noon.

Tell me you’re ADHD without telling me you are ADHD.
I currently work 2 full time jobs & a pt contractor for 2 years and I’m currently on the verge of burnout and confused on career growth.

I’m professionally excelling in all work areas and have been promoted in all work areas at least once over the past 2 years.

The issue is I find myself as a director of marketing (I over see 8 offices & a team of 7), Sales Client Partner, and Manager Administrator of Web/App Development

How do I grow?

Finally found a provider who listens and is helping me get ADHD controlled. Also diagnosed me w/anxiety. Treating w/Adderall and Wellbutrin, but she's telehealth so can't prescribe anymore. Was transfering Rx to my PCP under her guidance but my BP was high at my yearly (was a particularly stressful day at work, BP was normal the last 3 years). PCP won't coordinate care until I see a cardio. Anxious something will be wrong and I can't be treated for ADHD anymore 😩 anyone else here w/high BP?

Any tips for note taking? My biggest struggle is retaining information communicated verbally. To compound the issue, I’m a millennial and was never taught note taking, short hand, or cursive (outside a week long lesson to write our names) in school. It takes me forever to write out notes and while I’m writing I miss everything that’s being said. I have no problem putting in the work to learn techniques but can’t find helpful resources.

Just started medication - adderal helped but if I didn’t take it for a day the withdrawal was UNBEARABLE. On vyvanse now.. tbh feels like my brain fog started when I started meds?

I need dinner ideas 🥺 Im@not very verse in the kitchen so… I’ve done pasta, tacos, pizza , rice and meat 🙄 hot dogs? Potatoes and eggs 🤫 Pinterest is just to overwhelming 🥶

Whew this group is a relief to find. No one at my job knows I have ADHD, and I only have one other friend with it. I manage a team of people and the stress of checking, double checking, and triple-checking everything to make sure I'm not forgetting anything or behind on anything is insane. I've kind of got the hang of keeping focus during work hours, but I'm just constantly on edge that someone will notice or I'll start falling behind.

Ashwagandha. Look into it. With the Adderall shortage this has been an absolute life saver in my daily supplement pile.
