Yes I tried the flared pants that look amazing in the ads. They didn’t look as flattering in real life (I’m a XS or S), and I don’t think they’re made well enough for the price. I think Jcrew pants look nicer and they are not as pricy.

Agree with this. I was disappointed.

No, but I recommend Betabrand.

I don’t love Spanx quality personally. Tried their leather leggings and after a year of occasional wear they are in shambles. Not what I was hoping for in $100+ leggings

I have the dress pants that are legging-like and they are so comfy and look nice! Lasted me over a year and I wear them a ton.

An observation: I realized today that unless someone mentions their gender identity, I assume every post/comment I read on FB is written by a woman (apparently my default lawyer is woman) EXCEPT the whiskey bowl, where I assume posters are male. Implicit bias is weird. (Whiskey bowl not only lawyers, so maybe that's part of it.)

Just a bit of a rant - I’m back to the office after a prolonged absence (a week in the hospital and six weeks of leave due to illness) and people keep commenting positively on my weight. I lost about 30 lbs in 7 weeks due to being sick, and I’m just starting to get an appetite back again. I’m still dealing with some health stuff but more or less had to go back as I can’t afford to be on employment insurance anymore. I know the comments are well-intentioned but I hate it 🙃
