Hey All - Have the final loop interviews coming up at Amazon? Any key tips or advice to approach these and get through the 5 - 6 hours? Thanks!
How much time are companies giving you all to consider offers these days? Some interviews lined up, no options yet, but not sure what to expect. So trying to plan.
Been with PWC M&A for 15 months now and recently received an interview for an IB analyst position at a boutique for almost > x2 salary (90 base, 100% bonus). Should I go for it? Is it a step back?

So I reached out to my former colleague who is working at the place where I'm going to interview. And apparently, he told it to someone at my office and now everyone knows that Im going to interview.
I applied to a job and created a custom cover letter for a startup with a role I’m really into. Would it be too much if I emailed the recruiter about how I’m interested in the role because I’m interested in learning from the head of product at the company (he’s in charge of the program) since I’ve followed his thought articles/interviews views on being a good PM and I’ve learned a lot? Or is that desperate?
8 months ago I opted out of a longer term gig with my company because it isn’t what I truly enjoy doing. Since then, I’ve kept my current role and have interviewed extensively, confidently turning down some roles, getting rejected from others I would’ve killed for. I’ve taken most of it in stride but was just told by my current job I have two weeks before they need my seat. The idea of being unemployed (25M) terrifies me but I don’t want to settle for a role I’m not ecstatic about.
Those that have recently applied to MBB and got first round interviews - how long between submitting an application and your first round interview?

What’s it like working at Mindshare? I’m interviewing for the UL Analytics team and was wondering what the culture is like
Had my final interview two weeks ago. Recruiter keeps on moving the goal post on a decision date. I emailed the recruiter last Thursday and they said sometime this week. Is it bad if I check in today? Should I hold off?
Don’t you love being the guinea pig for an interview type? “This is the first time we’ve ever conducted interviews like this!”
Any podcasts/Ted talks/interviews that made a difference to you ? Any area of your life I'm in need of some background chatter/noise today. Music isn't cutting it somehow, could use someone talking 🥺😭
I'm tired of being told to prepare for easy to medium level leetcode problems and getting straight up DIFFICULT ones in interviews. I guess I just have to expect difficult from now on no matter what...these aren't even FAANG companies.
Is there a big difference between applying as a C vs SC when it comes to mba apps or is it more about impact/story? Does being an SC increase your chances of admission by a significant margin?

Just got an email from a partner asking to discuss the results of my CRT in the office tomorrow. I have high utilization but that doesn't seem to mean much. Am I being laid off?
Just got an offer at ACN as a Strategy Manager and HR made it clear that parental leave was 2 weeks fully paid for men. Theoretically up until 12 weeks is covered by NY State ($900 weekly). What would you do? Have you seen men take a few months off for parental leave in consulting even if unpaid?

What type of self help strategies do individuals actually find helpful when you feel burn out or stuck in a rut? Any books, apps, meditation, podcasts, etc, others find helpful? I've done therapy and it has definitely helped this past year with covid and a marriage separation, starting to feel like I'm making progress and want to keep up the momentum. Looking to see what type of self help others find actually beneficial and would love to use that to help others stuck in burn out too

Wait for promotion in October or take July bonus and leave? I'm so burnt out. It would be nice to get the title but I don't know if I can last that long, and not possible to take leave in between.
Okay so I recently got into Booth off the waitlist (so so stoked, my first choice) with no scholarship but have accepted an offer to Tuck with a 30k scholarship. Post MBA goals are MBB. Leaning hard on Booth but is there any chance they’d swing a scholarship at this point in the game?
