Nanny Pay Bump - We just had our second baby and I’m wondering what % of hourly wages or $ per hour increase those of you have provided to your nannies? We love ours and want to be sure to keep her but just wondering what “market” is.

For those who had miscarriages: did you do anything on the would-be due date to commemorate it? For ex- immediately after my miscarriage we went on a family trip as an escape/way of healing, and we collected a bunch of seashells. I got a little glass jar and am planning on putting the shells in it as a way of memorializing the loss for myself (it was 7 months ago, but passing the due date kind of wraps up the process for me - it certainly helps that I’m pregnant with a healthy baby currently).

My partner has a trip planned that we’ve all been prepping for (first time either of us have left the others in our toddler’s lifetime). Now I’m sick and feeling anxious to be alone with our toddler, who might also be getting sick. This trip is one that probably won’t happen again, so I don’t feel like I can ask him to stay, but how do I ask other people for help without getting them sick?

Ik this makes me a huge POS but I feel like I’m going crazy. I love animals, always have. I used to volunteer at shelters, dog sit for friends, even have 3 cats and 2 dogs. When I got pregnant the 1st time, suddenly everything they do pisses me off. I tossed it up to pregnancy hormones, but it’s been 2 years since my first and I’ve had a 2nd since. I don’t act out, but I can’t stop the constant thoughts of how much I hate them. Breathing, licking, all of it enrages me. Will this ever pass? 💔

Anyone else struggle to conceive on their second child? It’s so baffling as we had no trouble getting pregnant right away twice (one ended in miscarriage) the first time we were trying. Now, every month that we get a negative it feels a month further apart my kids will be & the sadder I get. Any advice? I’ve already been to the Dr. & everything checked out and been tracking my ovulation with tests & apps. How long did it take some of you to conceive 2nd kid if it took time?
