This was inevitable
Hi IBM sharks 🦈
So I got interviewed for a project by the IBM team. The interviewer told me that its a go ahead from their end, now the client will assess my profile and if they too are fine with it, I will be onboarded?
Is it true that we have client interview as well? If yes then after how many days of interview by IBM team, client interview takes place?
Or its just that if the IBM team is fine with it, we are selected for the project?
Any inputs on this will really help :)

I’ve personally had several coaches in my career focused both on personal and professional development. I’ve always leveled up through working with them as they have a non-biased view on what you share and can guide you to see your blind spots and improve both strengths and weaknesses.
I’m using a career coach right now to help me with my mindset in job searching as it’s the most difficult it has ever been in my career to date. My goal is to obtain an offer by September (uncontrollable) so we have set goals around contacts, outreach, LI update, posts, etc (controllable). My coach provided me an excellent matrix for decision making when I’m stuck in my head. She pushes me when I get into a lack mentality. Happy to report I have a final round this week.
Ultimately a coach is there to help with mindset in any area of focus through challenging your limiting beliefs, holding you accountable to what you commit to, encouraging you to honor your truths, and serving as a non-biased party whom can reflect back your stated desired results to test if you are on track or need to redirect. Investing in your mindset will ALWAYS be a worthwhile investment.
Thank you for that detailed information. I hired an ICF certified coach at the recommendation of a VP at my company. I interviewed 4, chose this one. She seemed really focused and insightful but then when we actually started working together she only focused on my North Star type goals, I needed coaching in managing some real time issues in the office which she wouldn’t help me navigate. It taught me to be even more specific around what I need from a coach if I try again.
Reading your post suggests that there is a little bit of a chicken and an egg situation. If I can be crystal clear on the help I need a coach can help, but if I am struggling to articulate what help I need a coach can’t help with that situation. Food for thought for me.
