Buying furniture, especially used, is faaaaar more economical. End tables for $10 / month? That’s $100 / year! Arm chairs for $45 / month? That’s $540 / year!
Start thinking one year out (chances are you’ll want a chair then, too) and you’ll see renting makes no sense.
From what I can recall when I looked into it, AD is right. You own it at the end but I believe you end up paying much more than the retail cost. I think you’re better off buying from a furniture store that will give you no interest financing for 12 months, some do even more
Looked into it, but if you’re in nyc, kaiyo and aptdeco are two great options. We bought a west elm couch for our apartment two years ago and the sold it back. Same with a few other items.
