Has anyone used Mural before? Any thoughts?

Hi Everyone, Started my career in government 5 years ago working in an operational role, then focussed on HR for 3 years working my way up to a middle manager role in HR as a business partner and completed my Level 7 CIPD. I don’t think HR or government is for me anymore and looking to find something new, now 24 feel I have a lot of transferable skills and knowledge but worried about private companies in other professions taking me seriously. Grateful for any advice - thanks in advance!

Are there any Workers Compensation MO Claims Adjuster here? I handle complex MO claims, which include review and authorization of surgeries. Basically, if the EE is not LT, the MO Adjuster manages the claims to closure. As an MO Adjuster, is that what you do? At what point do you transfer claims to LT Adjuster? What's your average monthly claim count? I'm trying to find out if my job duties and 10-hour shifts are in line with my salary. Or should I move on

I’m the only PM in my company. We work with custom automation in Michigan. I’m a recent graduate in mechanical engineering but I have 6+ in business and a degree on it. My question is, is 60k too little? Some of my friends are telling me that I was lowballed.

I think I’ve given up on the notion of Project Management and Account Management ever working in harmony.

I have an upcoming conversation to discuss compensation, curious to get thoughts on what I should ask for. I was hired as a Marketing Manager (assisting with projects, communication with clients, etc.). I am now running & managing all digital and creative projects. They are considering switching my title to Director of Project Management. All inflow and outflow of work is facilitated through me. No one else is able to communicate with our clients outside of me. What is a fair salary to ask for?

I have been running a particularly difficult program for almost a year now and my GCL lead will just nooooott tell me I’ve done a good job. She will rave about work others have done but no recognition for my leadership, ideation, shepherding, execution, etc. I can’t tell if this is just her personally, my need for affirmation or a lack of self promo. Tired of working with Account folks who are praised for being an amazing account person because they’re great at telling what the clients what they want to hear, while never standing up for their agency. In my past, I’ve experienced extreme burn out because Account would always promise deadlines that were never feasible for the team so we’d be working 12+ hour days everyday.

Hello fellow PMs - Any recommendations on how to get a client who is borderline obsessed with sending emails with ‘high priority’ red explanation point to stop this behavior? It’s counterproductive and had set the wrong expectation with my team on what the focus should be. I’ve managed expectations with my team, but still having a hard time getting the point across to the client.

What are the tools typically used for resource management? Having a hard time finding a tool that can give me granular day to day allocations and then high level for forecast planning. I’m spending a lot of time manually entering allocations in excel… there has to be a better automated solution.
