Has anyone used NINJA CPA notes & MCQs exclusively for studying for their exams? The materials seem all over the place to me and I’m having to use those huge Becker books which I don’t want to but they’re better structured and easy to follow IMO.

My current title is Buyer. I handle the purchasing of the larger categories of direct materials and train any new Buyers. I also manage outsourcing and quoting of raw materials for new business, among other things.

I am looking at taking over capacity planning for manufacturing, while keeping my previous responsibility.

What could I suggest for a new title/promotion? There isn't an existing position that I would be filling, and I want to show career growth on my resume.

Thoughts on quitting right after promotion? Some people are saying one month in a new role isn’t enough leverage to get the same title or more pay at the new company

Feeling a bit down after a negative pregnancy test today - we’ve officially passed the six month mark of TTC. I’m 33, progesterone, prolactin, and thyroid all look normal but my cycles suck. They will regularly stretch into the 40 - 50 day range but OB seems really unconcerned. I keep getting the “it’s totally normal to take this long” 😕 I’m scared we’ll waste a year just to find out there is a problem.

I’ve been in IT Audit for almost my entire career and was not an accounting major but want to take the CPA soon in order to be able to sign SOC reports and get Partner promotion. I’ve been out of school for A LONG TIME and don’t even know where to begin. I have enough hours to sit and want to start taking the exams in Jan.
