As a person of Bangaldeshi origin, I am so glad we got free in 71. I see the different trajectories of the two countries and could not be more proud of my fellow Bangladeshi folks who focused on education, economic growth, independent policy and democracy as opposed to religious fanaticism, subservience to China and army rule / banana republic . The results in GDP growth, currency strength and rule of democratic law.
I used it for a while! I think it depends on your starting point. If you don’t know a lot about nutrition and the psychology behind why you make the choices you do relating to food / exercise habits and have a fair amount of weight to lose, I think Noom can be helpful. If you already are very well versed in nutrition, fitness and wellness I think there are other (free) programs / accountability groups you can do.
my wife uses it. she annoys me so that's all I know.
Not useful for me
Used it for a bit and quite it. Lost 5lbs with it but it got really annoying after the first few weeks. Also found a few typos in their daily posts which was a big turnoff for me
I’d say I turn myself off too while we’re at it...
Thanks all!
I didnt see enough of a benefit to switch from MyFitnessPal. Use whatever you need to to track calories - that’s what’s most important.
I didn’t find Noom very helpful as the education was obvious and the food tracker wasn’t very good with limited options. Their green/yellow/red food classification doesn’t make sense - grill chicken is yellow but multi grain bread is green? Based on this logic I should eat more bread than chicken? The interaction on the app was delayed and felt like I received mass messages. I would recommend LoseIt as a better food tracking app.
