I have a question, fellow bowlaz! I work in a small advertising agency in Oslo, Norway, and we struggle to get in contact with international ad media such as Adweek (Ad Freak) and Ad Age whenever we want to show off our creative work. Does anyone of you have a way in, or tips on how we can get in contact with media outlets like these? Cheers

They’ve reached out to me a few times. We chat I send my resume and then never hear from them again.
My colleague got a new job through them. She seemed pretty happy so I met with her recruiter. Not yet time to move for me but I appreciate the recruiter e-mailing me every now and then about new opportunities that fit my experience. So I don’t think I’ll talk to any other recruiters when it’s time to lateral.
I worked briefly with one of their recruiters who was great to work with.
Reputable recruiters in legal. If you're ready for new job, you could talk to them.
Their emails are cheesy but I spoke to one from a referral from a friend who was very happy with his placement and she was wonderful. Tons of great advice and tips. Her main region was different than my target market but she connected me to one of her colleagues who was equally as wonderful and helped me landed a ton of interviews at great firms very fast. I ended up with an offer at my current firm via a former colleague and close friend but had a 10/10 experience with them
Just remember, recruiters don’t actually work for you. They work for (and get paid by) the firms whose roles they staff. Work with a recruiter if you must, but be aware they don’t *really* care about you or whether you’ll be happy in a particular role.
I work for Parker + Lynch. I’d be happy to talk with anyone who is curious about the market!
