Lately I started to notice that my boyfriend (of 2 yrs) often interrupts me mid-sentence with a random off-topic remark or story, or just starts talking over me when I’m saying something. My parents are both immigrants. My mom was orphaned at age 7 and moved to the US after feeling like she had no future in her country. My dad won a visa lottery months before completing his economics degree abroad but came to the US for a better life. They both work hard and things have not been easy. Today I got to take them to a nice dinner to celebrate my first 6 figure salary. They said this is the better life they came here for. I’m beyond grateful.

Divorce finalized on Tuesday. I didn't take the day off and was swamped at work yesterday. I just feel exhausted and need some sleep. It's not like I have been doing a lot of physical activity but I am just realllly tired. Anyone experience this post divorce? I just want to sleep for a few hours.

Any advice / coping mechanisms for dealing with anxiety? I’ve never been to a therapy but I want to start. Also thinking about getting more into yoga and meditation. What helps me currently is going on walks while listening to podcasts and doing breathing exercises. Some days I feel fine and other days my anxiety is so bad I feel like I need ways to manage it better.

Ladies, how do you handle it when your date is just not that good at texting? 😂 I am certain that we like each other and in-person is great chemistry, but his texting style just looks really cold and makes me not want to text him much.
