Has anyone with anxiety cut out coffee completely? Did you symptoms improve?

Coffee drinking is pretty common at my firm, and I love the taste. However the possible impact to my anxiety is something I'm concerned about.

I did, it had no effect on my anxiety or depression. I did notice however that without coffee I did not crash in the afternoon, which is kind of interesting. But that’s just my experience and your mileage may vary. I have since gone back to drinking coffee.

I cut down a lot and switched some to decaf. I was drinking way too much and self-medicating with alcohol at the time because I couldn’t sleep. It reduced my anxiety from crippling to manageable but still high

I recently gave up caffeine. On week 5 or 6 right now. No headaches or lethargy from quitting. My anxiety has decreased, though nominally. I definitely notice the lack of jitteriness helps the PHYSICAL manifestations of anxiety a bit but still inside my head. Good luck! 💪

Up to the 6-7month mark without caffeine. Don’t miss it at all. Seems an effective tool amongst others to lower anxiety a bit, at least for me. I also am not chasing a coffee when traveling so saves time. I still enjoy decaf cold brew a few times a week which I make at home.

Totally removed my anxiety, now drinking even a small amount of coffee can completely derail my day. I still enjoy a cup of decaf coffee or tea to get my day started (brain recognizes that hot drink in morning = time to work)

I guess I should add that I also used to drink coffee in tandem with Adderall XR (and then later IR) and now after quitting both I have a very low tolerance for any sort of stimulant.

Take Lithium orotate 5mg with B12, you will feel like old self..

I stopped drinkingcoffee because it gave me headaches. I only drink tea now

Peloton users: Newbie here. I’ve only done about 10 rides. Most are 30 min rides. Yep things are recurring- (1) my hands feel like they fall asleep after too long holding on to the bars. Only have 2 yoe and I’m not sure if I want to keep going at this 8+ hours a day, 5 days a week for the next 40 years. How do people do it?
