Salesforce how long does it usually take to hear back from a phone screen to see if you made it to a first round interview? I had a phone screen over a week ago and never heard back from the recruiter, even after emailing them back, but on workday my application is still showing “screen”.

I would never have someone take care of my child without references. Doesn’t matter that you’re home. You don’t have time to make 2-3 phone calls?
Call on the references. You can feel it out whether they’re real or not.
Thank you all for sharing your thoughts. I’ll probably ask her if she’s willing to do a background check on her first day on Monday and possibly references. It really helps to know about other mom’s thoughts and experiences!

I think your fine. Just be helicopter parents for a little while to keep an eye.
Will you be home when she is there? If so I’d say yes, if not I’d be hesitant
Yes hubs and I’ll both be home, and most of the time I’ll be working in the kitchen right next to the living room where baby’s play area is (there’s no divide) so I can see. Only time baby will be be out of sight is when they go upstairs to his bedroom. Hallway has no cameras but his bedroom has his baby monitor. Honestly, we have nothing to steal and I don’t see why someone would try to harm a baby intentionally, so I’m more concerned about how careful she is. I’m not sure what else I need to be worried about though so I’m open to any thoughts. She’s a older lady who raised her own daughter
If you had no red flags and y’all will both be there and you need help I’d give it a shot
No red flags yet. She told me why she quit her most recent employer, and her reason made sense to me. Stayed with them for 1.5 years. I figured her story sounded pretty real and honest
