There are a couple of companies I really want to get into. Would it be weird to apply to those when I started at new job a month ago? If they give me interview they would notice i have only been at new place a month right? Or i should wait at least half year.
After several reschedules, I was finally confirmed with the actual dial-in information ;) for two days 5 interviews. I did the first one with the hiring manager and someone shadowing him. Interviewers did not show up for the second two meetings on the schedule. Not sure what to do at this point. This is AWS. Folks are saying they went through the process pretty quickly. I feel like I already lost a huge amount of time getting the save the date and then taking time off from work.
HBS interview invites to go out on 2nd and 5th October-- already biting my nails. The wait is killing me. And Yale 1st wave of invites expected this Friday
Does anyone feel like they’re getting really rusty with...talking? I feel like with such limited social interactions (except work meetings) I’m so awkward now. I’m interviewing right now and I feel sooo rusty.
Salesforce how long does it usually take to hear back from a phone screen to see if you made it to a first round interview? I had a phone screen over a week ago and never heard back from the recruiter, even after emailing them back, but on workday my application is still showing “screen”.
Is PWC a good company? I got rejected today, so feeling a bit bad ? Is it worth it ? I already have offer from EY and Wipro

Had several interviews with a place including the “final round”. Just wondering how long it usually is to get an offer? It’s been a few days plus the weekend so just curious if there is a general rule?

Hi! I’m newer to advertising & wondering what hiring timelines are generally like. I’ve had weeks in between applying and being called into interview. How long does it usually take to hear back?
Whats the dress code when interviewing with startups? Is it a good idea to dress down (e.g. hoodie, baseball cap) to fit the startup vibe more?
Hi Everyone! I’m going to be interviewing at PwC for a senior tax role in asset wealth management (2nd round) for the NY office. Does anyone have any tips on how to prepare for it or any insight into the work culture? Thank you all!
Anyone been asked to do reverse interviews as part of an interview process? Any recommendations on what to ask etc
Advice on framing an interview thank you email when you feel like you only did okay? Nothing majorly went wrong but I get the feeling the interviewer was not wildly impressed and has some doubts.
Question about title- interviewing with a company and in the final stage. They asked for my current title. I am currently performing as an engagement manager but waiting for title in the system to update. Worried that I might leave before the process of system update is complete and will show up on background check as a gap. How should I respond to the new company?
Interviewed at a small firm last week. I was told they will call me back for a second interview. Today I heard they aren’t moving forward with me. Weird.
I’m in a confusing situation and would appreciate guidance - I had an Investment Bank reach out to me a few days ago and we’ve been scheduling “Intro” calls. They’re not specifically using the word “interview” in the conversation. I got yet another intro call scheduled with upper management and honestly don’t know how to prepare? Any tips on how to navigate the situation?

Maybe we should implement something like automatic posts refresh? I got a notification about "someone like mypost" but it isn't displaying at the post title...

My Senior Manager is going through a really rough time and has turned to drinking. There have been times where they showed up to the client site drunk and I had to take care / cover for them and (cont
Been in Big4 for 6 years now, and I still don't get it. Why on earth are these firms thinking with requiring technology consultants to handle invoicing, engagement creation, timesheet code creation, and other misc. financial tasks. Can't we have a dedicated finance team per client to handle the misc. financial related mess in the engagement lifecycle instead of requiring technical folks to waste precious hours on stuff that really isn't transferrable?
For my coloradans, what next car should I buy that can hopefully last me 200-300k miles, and our winters (especially I-70)?
Just got a promotion, hit ~180k TC and feeling extra grateful 🥰 This amount of money is still so surreal
How much do you guys spend on restaurants and bars? It seems I’m spending about $1k a month
Made a decision that I knew my (traditional east Asian) parents would disapprove of. They're incredibly upset, full of tears, and no longer answering my calls. I feel heart broken. Has anybody been in a similar position? Looking desperately for help
I have an offer for a senior associate role at a $1B private equity. Currently a manager though, so a downgrade. Getting pay rise. Pros and cons of losing title?
I have been a consultant for 8 years (pre & post MBA) but I am starting to realize that being raised poor just puts that poverty into your bones. For eg. I was at Marshall’s today and realizing I shop almost everything in my home from the great brands of Ross, Tj maxx, every shoe I have bought has been from DSW and would buy the bad ketchup instead of Heinz. Like I sleep on a 200 dollar mattress from Amazon. Don’t get me wrong, not saying I am unhappy or feel deprived
Is saying “does that make sense?” feel condescending? Is there a better way to say this.
