There’s a vendor that specifically looks at brand perception from content campaigns but I can’t remember the name right now. That’s different though from social listening. Social listening could be used as an indicator of SOCIAL sentiment but I personally wouldn’t use it to make claims about a brand. The only exception might be if the brand is so big that you have huge data sets (maybe Coca Cola, Nike). Even still, only a small % of people actually talk about brands on social media and you’re likely to get a skewed picture based on this minority group of people who don’t represent consumers as a whole.
