Has anyone worked with Mondo the recruiting agency? What was it like?

A year ago they asked me to fill out employee paperwork for their agency. I didn’t think much of it Bc I know many temp like firms pay you through them. But then I never heard anything about the job. I’m now being approached by a different recruiter with them about a new job and I just don’t trust them. Do they do anything with non competes or whatnot?

I got an offer from OpenText Canada for a Sernior Java Developer. How much is the salary for such positions? Is 70k per annum low?

Is it worth buying a condo in Downtown for putting on rent? I'm relatively new here and feel that the laws are very consumer friendly. So, I'm not sure if it is worth buying an apartment and putting it on rent (don't want to get in legal hassles with the tenant).

Just had my first egg retrieval last week (35). 19 eggs were retrieved, 18 mature and fertilized. It’s day 3 and 14 are still growing. Should I assume another 50% drop off rates until they are blastocyst? I’m doing PGD also and know I will statistically lose a bunch at that point also. When interviewing - either as the interviewer or interviewee - what of you think of the recommendation to say things like "What a great question!" or "I'm really glad you asked me that!" I personally find this to be false flattery. As an interviewer it turns me off. And, as an interviewee I try to focus on real answers to the question.

But, perhaps others have had success with this approach.

I got an informal offer stating the salary range before they officially extend a written offer. I accepted over email and the recruiter said this:

Are you comfortable accepting at the (lowest part of the range) and everything else listed? Or would it need to be on the higher end of the range I suggested?

What the heck do I say while being polite??? Of course I would rather it be higher than the lowest part of the range!!

In the recruiter interview I wasn’t asked where I live. The job is with a huge sports wear company in Los Ángeles and I live in Miami. Does not living in the same city not make the hiring manger want to hire you even though I would move to the jobs location ASAP? And if they ask where I live do I say I live in their city? Even though I don’t and it’s a contract position.
