I'm a BMS graduate from a top tier college in India. Have an experience of 1.6 yeaars in the US Mortgage industry (Secondary Market). However, I've resigned in June, 2020. Now, I'm looking for full time roles in core finance and I'm looking towards PE firms/IB. To upskill myself, I've also completed a PE course on coursera. Can someone guide me/provide leads about how could I be considered for an interview atleast? (I've been applying aggressively, but couldn't land an interview yet, help!)

However I noticed they all seem to have 10+ years of relevant experience and I do not (1 year relevant). As the door is open with them, I do not want to waste this opportunity. Any stories of what happened AFTER you had to back out of some work because you were getting overwhelmed with what’s on your plate? I had to tell a partner I couldn’t help him with a training after initially agreeing because I was worn thin between two different deals. I’m fairly new to the firm so am a little concerned this is going to affect me reputationally, but figured it was better than blowing a client-related deadline. Fwiw he was nice about it and his training I think went fine.

Is it ok to go there with 13 myr considering I have 20 LPA in India ( bachelor here)
Is it safe to go there with being a consultancy as a payroll
