I've been to around 15 different delta sky lounges and the one in F terminal in Atl just gave me a hard time for bringing in food - is that normal? And why? I just said it's for the flight and ate it
@partners - I have two opportunities. One is to lead a group for a corporation (industry). The other is to join another consulting firm, doing the same work that I am doing now. While the comp will be better to stay in consulting and I do like the idea of becoming a partner one day, I am intrigued with the steady industry role... any advice?
I want to get an offer from another firm to get EY to match. (1) If I go through the process with another B4 and then tell them I’m staying, does that become a black mark on my record if I apply for another job in the future? (2) Should I tell my referral contact about my plan?
Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones? https://blog.shrm.org/blog/9-interesting-interview-questions-that-actually-reveal-a-lot-about-candidat
Guidehouse is offering me 95k for a Sr Consultant position. How does this line up? I have 3 YOE.
Been seeing posts where people are getting laid off even when staffed. What’s the rationale for that?
Design time. Challenge number 3 coming your way in the form of a more meaningful topic this month, centered around tomorrow: World Mental Health Day. As designers, we put so much time into making something cool, fun, or that makes money. But we should also use our design powers for good. You up for it?
Some states are cancelling testing for the year. Do you think COVID could be the end of standaridized testing?

Does anyone know the base salary for an M&A tax director and senior director at Alvarez and Marsal?
Been at D (legacy S&O) for ~ 6 wks now as an analyst and goal to be at MBB by EoY. 1) Where can I find resources on how “experienced” hire recruiting differs from campus hires? 2) What are some best practices/resources/tips for casing? Got 2 1st round interviews during college, and did well on behavioral, but was told my casing needed some work. I want to do anything in my power to close my ability gap. Thank you!
Looking for referrals in consulting roles at MBB or T2 strategy firms. Experience into strategy, change, transformation, analytics & operations excellence. YOE : 12
What is keeping you in consulting? I am getting offers from industry which is almost 40% higher than my current TC with more benefits. Am I Missing the point of consulting?
My department head mentioned to me that there may be a high school teaching position opening in the future and they think I'd be good for it. I'm not sure I'd want to make the change because I've only ever taught middle school, (14 years!), and wonder how big the change in student attitude and behavior would be like? This year though, the kids I have are really draining and it's got me thinking. Would high school students be the same crazy behaviors or would their maturity make a big impact?
Have an interview with Apple coming up, can anybody share experiences? Doesn’t seem like there is a lot on Apple interviews on this app. Any insights will be helpful!
Any 🐠 here currently at Jam City game company? I currently work at a AAA game publisher, and hoping for a referral. Happy to chat, thx
3.5 years ago I was given a promotion without a raise. A year and a half later they gave me a raise but it did not put me in the range I should be in for for my level, years of experience and quality of work. How should I approach the subject of another raise with my manager in the New Year? Being so underpaid is really starting to weigh on me. I love where I work so I don’t want to leave. But, I’m also having a baby soon so finances are very top of mind right now.
Is Accenture h1b dependent ?
