The alternative of a for-profit news is a state-run news.
I’ll tune into the tabloids. Rather that than a Newspeak edition. (History is written by the victors, traditionally. We’ll see how the media as we know it plays into that)

One of the most memorable images of 9/11. Afghanistan started with scared Americans jumping out of buildings on fire because of jet impacts and ends with scared Afghans falling from jets and in both cases they didn’t want to face what was coming.
