Hey Googlers, I’m going in for my GCP TAM second round on Monday and had a few QQs for you all:
1. For the RRK2 case study if there is a scenario for handling peak time workloads where the client did a lift & shift of a monolithic architecture, is the best suggestion to move them to micro services to enable serverless and auto scaling features?
2. I was told that they’ll give me 15 mins to prep after the case study is shared live, would you suggest I build a 1 pager or is that not required?Google
Hang in there ✊🏽
Something to brighten up your day 🤗

Yes. Highly recommend. Night and day results for one of my former summers just doing one school year worth of it.
I went to Toastmasters to actually learn how to speak slower. Reference: I did public forum debate in high school and was taught to spread (speed read) and it crossed over into my real life and it just wasn’t feasible for the average person to understand. I absolutely loved it. They were really helpful and offered a lot of different techniques. It’s self paced so it all depends on how well you think you’re doing to be honest lol. I stayed for about a year since I really liked the people.
I do a lot of public speaking and have run train the trainer for people to run workshops, etc. I’ve seen absolute introverts become thrilling storytellers, it is a skill that can be learned.
Focus on changing your mindset from “overcoming a fear” to “building a confidence”.
Toastmasters is a great 101 but you will need to foster your own personal style to get to the next level.
I did it it worked for me. I used to freeze and forget everything single thing I wanted to say. toast master was great for me
Thank you all. I’m debating joining as I’m fine in small group settings but turn into a social retard when on stage. I know it must be a mindset and technique thing.
Have any of you also tried improv and was that differentiating/did it help?
Bro...you clearly slipped past the culture fit part of the interviews
Beta blockers helped.
Yes, both Toastmasters and Improv worked for me and were great.
