I have a question, fellow bowlaz! I work in a small advertising agency in Oslo, Norway, and we struggle to get in contact with international ad media such as Adweek (Ad Freak) and Ad Age whenever we want to show off our creative work. Does anyone of you have a way in, or tips on how we can get in contact with media outlets like these? Cheers

Once upon a time this happened to me, but by a happy coincidence the company I was leaving transitioned HR systems on my last day and my bonus got lost in the shuffle.
Yes. Read the contract.
Yep. This is not uncommon to happen. This is usually written in the contract so you should review it.
If bonus is based on prior year of work performance (paid out in following calendar year), how would the company have any standing to receive the bonus back after you left? What am I missing? Unless this is specifically spelled out somewhere I don't see how you'd have any obligation to pay them anything..
If it was a sign-on bonus, then yes. Read your offer letter and the employee handbook for info on that. Usually the amount decreases overtime until you’ve reached a certain milestone. If it’s a performance bonus, then I would say no, because that’s based on the work you did for them prior to receiving the bonus, not the future.
Yup pretty standard. Usually if you leave voluntarily within a year signing bonus and relocation may have to be returned.
Annual performance bonus? No. Nor would I consider it as the employee or employer, It was based on last year’s work.
Retention bonus (or some pre paid portion of it) absolutely … It’s whole purpose is to keep you from quitting until some agreed-upon date. If you leave before that, even one day, You’re not holding up your end of the bargain
