What does SME stand for in the context of roles? (The only SME ik is small and medium enterprises which doesn’t seem to make sense in EY’s context) I’ve seen it used multiple times and still no idea what it means

I was on a partner/manager call today and they were discussing the “high” turnover at the senior and experienced associate level. What was shocking is that while ours is about double normal, evidently we are 3 out of 4 in turnover meaning 2 of the Big 4 are even higher.

I had two separate interviews these past two weeks. The first one I really connected with the interviewers and felt like I hit it out of the park. What’s the interview process like for s&o positions?

I’ve applied to 3 program manager roles with google and even though I feel I’m over qualified, I’m not getting any interviews or even a screening call from a recruiter. I got NTD for 2/3 already.

If there is anyone willing to take a look at my resume and give me feedback on gaps they see in my experience that would be leading to this i’d appreciate it! If in fact I’m not the right fit now I would really appreciate knowing what to work on to make myself a stronger candidate in the future!

Currently passed the 4 virtual interviews but stuck in team matching for a PgM role. Anything I can do at this stage to improve my team match chances? Can I identify teams proactively from outside job postings and route to my recruiter?

Background: original role was filled prior to me clearing onsite virtual interviews. I have only had one team match interview since then and they chose a different candidate. Would be disappointed to get this far in the process to have it stall out.

For those that have been on a split-start, does Google adjust your salary for local markets? My salary while I wait for my EU passport is €66k which equates to $74k USD, however I can see that the role I have has a higher AVG. starting salary, stateside. Will they adjust for local market, or simply just convert my salary to local currency? I make $90k rn so it’d be a bummer to start making considerably less while I wait 3mo’s to move abroad.
