Have $100k to invest. To DCA or throw it in lump sum? With a 30+ yr time horizon is this splitting hairs?

Hi! I’m finally closing my HSBC accounts (terrible customer experience and bad app). Just signed up with Chase for my checking. What would people recommend for a general savings account (for my rainy day fund to sit)? After 401k contributions I just put everything into Betterment. Is this a good plan? Recommendations/ advice appreciated.

I have declared my investments in tax declaration portal , still I see in monthly salary that there is huge tax deduction.
In my previous organization, once I declared my investments in the tax portal , then my salary was very less affected by tax deduction.
But in ey india , I don't see any effect after declaring my investments.
Kindly help me how to declare investments so that there will be less tax deductions from my salary .

I stopped contributing to my 401K for the last three months in order to pay off credit card debt. I am 28 and have about 68K in my 401K. Was this a smart decision? I want to get out of debt as quickly as possible and I have no student loans or car debt.

I just heard recently that if you refinance and your house appraises at 20% more than the amount owed, you can remove PMI. Is this correct? Getting a divorce and trying to keep the house but moving from a VA to a traditional loan and would rather not pay PMI if I don’t have to. House was purchased for $460k no money down (VA loan), refinanced at $450k to lower payments $400/month, now have $430k left on the loan... would it have to appraise for $516k?
