I have resigned last week from TCS.Today manager pinged on teams & asked all details like Skillset, Exp, exp in current account, project and reasons for resignation & hike %,if applicable. I replied reasons as location change, learning growth and hike. Then he asked. if I will stay in tcs if given preferred location and account change. I said yes ,if its along with good hike. Now he is asking which company I got the offer from& current salary and offered salary.Can i tell these things to him, pls help.

I’ve been in corporate America and Finance for less than a year but every time I have interacted with a woman who’s an MD or higher up, seeking mentorship or advice, they have just been so cold and rude! I’m also POC and have actively reached out to other WOC who are senior to me and I keep experiencing this. I can understand being busy and having more than you can juggle on your hands but I do not understand the lack of empathy? Albeit my sample size is small here but is it just me?
How often do UMM/MF PE Portfolio Ops roles come available?
Have a VP-level offer at a MF but initial offer was below my target comp. Took significant amount of effort and working networks to get the offer. Think im going to reiterate my target but now worried this might turn into a 1+ year search to find another similar role.

Does signing an initial loan disclosure bind you to the lender? Is it ok to sign two different initial loan disclosures from different lenders and back out of one based off of what the final closing costs end up being? I know it sounds ridiculous but I’m having trouble deciding between lenders and there may be some additional credits one of the lenders may provide down the line.
Can you confirm my ‘back of the napkin’ BRRRR math?
- Purchase: $95K ($19K down, $76K loan)
- Renovation: $10K
- Closing Costs (both buy/refi): $7K
- ARV: $150K at 80% LTV ($30K equity, $120K loan)
Does that mean that I made $30K (in equity), $8K in income, and then the downstream cash flow?

Refinance question. Bought a house recently with a jumbo loan and ARM. Paid down with proceeds and looking to refinance and fix at 15 years. What's better... 2.25% with 2700 in closing costs (might be 2200 if appraisal is waived) or 2.375% with 0 closing costs? Note is 480k.

I’m graduating undergrad in May and want to do real estate investing long term. Is it worth it to get my brokerage license in the state that I’m moving out of (I would want to do out of state investing) or should I just take a general real estate investing class. The goal would be to grow in knowledge about all things real estate. Also, any advice on real estate investing for a beginner would be appreciated!!
