Ive been in tech in the Bay Area for 2+ years with previous experience in data management. Thinking of rebranding & getting into partner marketing or anything to get me to 6 figures. Thoughts?

After that what will be the next steps and when? How do I know that bg verification completed or still under process. They don’t have any portal to check current status. I don’t get why my state board has to be so difficult giving me a CPA license! I have 150 credits, passed the exams, have a bachelors in business and a masters in accounting. Any suggestions? Everywhere I look online has courses that are equivalent to the ones I’ve taken already. By the way, The board said I am deficient just 10 credit hours of upper level accounting courses (300+) for licensure.

I’ve been in this country since teenage years but I’m still on h1b (but most employers would think I’m already a citizen because they just don’t encounter many candidates who are not Americans in the field).
