Whereabout are they staying? I like dinner at Supper or Buddakan for big groups (I know it’s kind of cheesy but out of towners love buddakan). If everyone is in one big Airbnb, do a delivery of great bagels one morning. For activities, are they all nyc regulars, or are most of them rare ny visitors? One fun and cheap thing to do is ride the ferry down to Red Hook or Governors Island. Def do a museum (maybe the Met so it’s cheap). Dumbo/Brooklyn Bridge Park is a nice and cheap afternoon.
Mostly out of towners! Thanks for these
NY adventure club has some interesting walking tours - fun even if you live here. This one is only a couple of hours and gives history of Chinatown while stopping at a handful of restaurants & sampling. https://www.nyadventureclub.com/event/the-secret-eats-of-chinatown-manhattan-food-crawl-registration-275014394457/
I’d suggest checking out Airbnb experiences for some ideas. Could be fun to book as well
I’m not sure if it’s up and running post covid but I’ve done a few food tours with visiting friends and it was always a hit. Also you can take the ferry for free past the Statue of Liberty. Really cool at sunset so you can see the city lights on the way back.
Like, entertainment wise?
Anything. Food for big groups, things to do or see. Ideally something less expected/ touristy. I have looked at all the online lists. Just digging if there is something I am forgetting or don’t know about.
