HI folks,
My current CTC is very low with respect to my YOE. CTC : 5.2 lpa
YoE : 4
Tech stack : Python , MLops
But now my manager has initiated H1B visa for me and the visa process is in progress.
Is it worth to wait till the H1B process completes to work in U.S (74k package) (or) should i make a switch immediately. ?

Are other successful hires told that they don’t have a pathway to partner and it’s specific to you? Kudos to the hiring team to have the foresight to envision your journey to Partnership 5+ years out based on a few conversations and interviews... legendary stuff... LOL
If you already have a few years’ consulting experience, take the industry role. The only reason to think about consulting is the learning curve - if you’ve already done a few years, then the curve for you won’t be steep. You can use the skills in the industry and get to a super senior level quick (depending on whether the company is supportive of that)

Don’t join Deloitte. Better to be out of this meas
Unless you love love consulting, take the industry offer

Industry in a heartbeat.
I wouldn’t trust a consulting firm that tells me that as an employee, let alone one that I’m not yet employed by, let alone Deloitte.
This is an easy one. Industry.
Congrats.
Definitely take the industry job. Better pay, fewer hours, probably better treatment and quality of life.
The answer is never D.

Thank you everyone for your responses!
Industry role IMHO
“D is promising” would be a massive red flag for me
Industry! Deloitte is lying to you. Everyone is promised a path to partnership. It’s depending on how much you are willing to sell you soul for it though…
First question I would ask to myself - am I this gullible to believe in the 'Big Lie' that D is spewing to me ? Since you asked the question, I would be tempted to believe that is the case. May the force of D be with you. Amen!!
