If she’s of a higher level than you, definitely do not date. But if you’re both in the same level/years of experience, maybe. Still, not a very good idea to mix business and pleasure.

If she’s a higher level I say that’s more the reason to go for it. Might end up with a promotion out of the deal.

Are you two friendly at work? If so, as long as you are both single and neither of you is the other’s boss, I think it is ok to proceed with caution. Keep in mind that if things don’t work out, the aftermath may be messy.
Thank you for the very level headed recommendation, I definitely needed to hear this
Seems like sexting over corporate devices is the best way to feel it out.
LOL
Why? You two should just start sleeping with each other
Five out of five!!!
Been there! It’ll pass. Or it won’t, and you’ll end up sleeping together. It’s happened both ways for me 😂

This level of manifesting is inappropriate for the board.
Jeff Zucker, is that you!?
I know someone who has a major crush on their boss. It’s normal I think.
I married a former coworker. They worked in a different department and the only reason our paths crossed is a mutual friend in a 3rd department worked with both of us and organized a post work happy hour.
Before we started dating I asked myself "there are only 2 outcomes. We're either getting married or breaking up. Likely we will break up. If we break up can I still come to work and do my job?" We were so far removed I thought it was fine. We've been married for 5 years.
So do I. But the rank gap makes any advances inappropriate. 😢
When you work so much, it is very normal for coworkers to end up dating since you spend more time with them than anyone else!
I’m dating my coworker - go go go!
if I knew (or strongly thought) that she liked me then I would definitely go for it and be extremely subtle lol, but that’s just me
I def DON’T know if she likes me. She’s very nice to me but she could also just be being polite
Wait until you're not working with her on a daily basis and then ask her out to a bar or something.
I'm in this situation too!... although he lives in New York and I'm in the UK.
