How can I go about looking for a mentor as a software engineer? I am almost 3 years into my software engineering career and I feel I haven’t learned and done as much in 3 years as I should have. For those of you with high functioning triads, what makes your engineering lead standout? I am in a product team where the engineering lead was a good developer who was promoted into role when the previous lead left. They are a good IC, but have trouble staying out of the weeds and I don't feel like the engineers have enough thought leadership. Trying to work on this dynamic with coaching, but I'd love some insights into what you see as must have attributes/ways of working for that role.
