Have a verbal offer with a call on Monday to discuss details. Likely you’ll get the offer at your minimum. Always moonshot your ask (within reason) and negotiate down from there. On Monday you can say you appreciate the offer and you’ll think about it but you have other irons in the fire. Then email x,y,z reasons they should give you more money, time, flexibility or whatever the thing is you need more of to accept.

They need to be specific to your situation and the role. Glassdoor can be helpful for justifying a range too.

If they give you the minimum you asked for, I would hazard a guess and say they won’t be a great employer. You want to work for someone who values you, and wants to keep you happy / motivated. Giving you a good offer instead of trying to sign you on at the lowest possible cost to them would go a long way to demonstrate they see your potential, rather than just another asset to bleed dry.

Especially if it's above the original minimum I named.

Does anyone know how 'case studies' are like for data science interviews (industry, not consulting)?

For folks exiting to FAANG / Product at start ups or really any hot company. How do you go about networking to get the interview? Do you apply then cold email someone you may have an “in”with, or are you picking say 10 companies and then having warm contacts there that you’ll ping when you see a job. I’ve been passively looking for jobs but zero luck, I only want to leave for the right fit. Big 4 here so feel my brand won’t auto get me an interview like mbb/t2

When Hiring Manager reached out to me saying his/her assistant will reach out regarding a specific time for interview, how long should I wait? Before HR reached out to me in mid December, but lost in the middle, and suddenly got back with a phone call last week. I followed up after 3 work days, is it pushy for HR? This is a large reputable company. Wondering how you guys think about it. Thank you.

Hi everyone! I’m a young CPA, relocating to Raleigh. I made the decision to transition into sales after realizing that I want to bring more fun into my career. I’m currently reading sales books, watching Keenan’s YouTube channel, and learning all I can. I’m relentlessly applying for SDR positions but I’m having trouble landing interviews (been applying through LinkedIn). I would appreciate advice from anyone who transitioned from another industry into sales. How did you break the barrier?

Hey guys, recent grad with a bs in bio. Trying to break into sales as an SDR/BDR in a large SaaS company (salesforce, aws, zoom etc) but finding it rather hard even after networking. Got one interview, it went well, but only 40% of SDRs are hitting quota. Open to any advice/insight and help.

Dear Accenture, Please pick me for an interview. The end.
