That’s not even remotely true. At best, the current research shows that MAYBE you can’t get coronavirus, assuming your test was specifically for Covid-19 and not the coronavirus family which included the common cold. In any event, nowhere has it been shown that having antibodies prevents you from spreading the virus.

Go north. Vermont is doing really well but check quarAntine advisories.

As far as I know, it's still 14 day quarantine on arrival (most of my family lives there).

You know what F all those people who say “Why are we wearing masks at work? This sucks!” I am happy we have to, that way I don’t have to smell your disgusting breath in morning or after your lunch. If you have good oral hygiene and don’t want to wear a mask I am cool with you guys/gals. If not, put on a mask to save a life. If your COVID won’t kill us, your bad breath definitely will.

Is Covid finally becoming endemic? Most Omicron cases (according to my ER wife nurse) are very mild, and not worth the hospital visit. How will/should this impact us as educators?

Serious question. I started developing symptoms of covid last Friday. This included fatigue which worsened last Saturday. The next couple of days it got better but I started to develop cold symptoms such as runny nose, phlegm, and nasal congestion around Tuesday. I finally tested on Wednesday and came out positive. It’s been over a week since my first symptom, but I’m not sure when to test again to see if I am positive.

I have a brief resume gap from near the beginning of covid but have been at a new employer for >1 year. I’ve been asked about said gap during in-house interviews, but it’s generally been cursory and I give the explanation agreed upon by former employer. Was pressed a bit harder recently by being asked “will x former employer confirm [the story]?” Is this in and of itself a bad sign? Are they trying to catch a lie?
