Talk me off a ledge!!! I had an interview with one of the leading professional service firms that I won’t mention for an internal services Learning Manager role. (I’m a former employee from the consulting side) I had a first round interview, that from my perspective, I aced… I answered everything thoroughly, I was engaged with the interviewer…she stated my skills lined up perfectly with the role and that she wanted me to talk to her manager….15 min after the interview I get a no go email…ugh

Would like your advices. Awhile back I applied and was video interview for a position at a competitor. I suspect I wouldn’t get it based on the vibes they gave off. Now randomly I get an email from one of their recruiter asking if I was interested to apply for a similar position. Should I even bother? It might be with the same people.

I’m transitioning from Art Director to UX/UI Designer. As an AD, I’ve worked on UX/UI but it wasn’t the only thing I did. I don’t know how to title myself on my resume with all my experience being an AD and/or Designer though.

Advice request. I've been in consulting for nearly a decade but suspect it might not be for me. I like the pay and the novel problem-solving, but loathe the travel and narcissistic colleagues/clients. Is there a career path for a bachelor's degree person that can use general critical thinking skills, work with high-IQ people, and still has high earning potential, but doesn't rely on constant travel or the exhausting social tyrrany found with consulting clients/leads?
