Been digging into the obvious (e.g. resume, DCF, three-statements, basics of LBO, why IB + this bank) but don’t want to spend unnecessary time on everything that comes up in a google search if it isn’t the right approach.

My background is BSc & MSc in Acct, back office BB intern, big4 audit intern, and current title FT ~ 1.5 yrs. My current role is heavy on 3 statement models/IS forecasts.

So glad I found this group! I’ve hopped through 3 jobs since graduating 2 years ago. They all start out great- I ace interviews, flourish creatively, and get super positive feedback from managers. Few months in, my interest begins to wane. Productivity dies off, and engagement in my work falls of the cliff. My work suffers and I end up quitting because I hate myself for not showing up when people are counting on me. Any advice?

I am really hurt (somewhat burnt) by Deloitte Snapshot feedback. The engagement lead was compilatory of my work and very cordial and thankful. Then he turns around and gives me a mediocre snapshot. Why did he not have the spine to be honest if he thought I had improvement opportunities. I would have loved to work on it and improve. We had a 15 min touchpoint every other week.
