I have made it to the final round of the interview process for a Corporate Counsel role at an early stage startup and will be interviewing with the GC at the end of the week. This is a small legal team currently consisting of the GC and three other lawyers, and the role that I applied for reports directly to the GC. Can anyone advise me as to what sort of questions that I can expect from the GC and how to effectively advocate my candidacy for the position?

Can anyone review my resume and help me to make it better. Yoe<1

Job base salary presented by HR during screening interview was $130-$145k. I have 3-5 years more experience and more education compared to the posting requirements (BA required, I have a MS). I love the position and what it entails, but was hoping to reach $150-$160 base salary. If offered the position, is this a reasonable ask? This is for big pharma, data analytics in New England.

I currently make 78k at Lockheed but I’m not doing what I’d like to be doing and i felt stuck and after many conversations with my manager and no solution in sight, I started applying elsewhere. I just recently got an offer from a smaller AI company for 95k that I plan to accept. I’m happy to make the jump, I just don’t know how my manager/coworkers will react when I tell them I’m leaving.

Asked in work-life bowl but asking here as well.

I’m interviewing with a non-profit tomorrow. I have 5 YoE in non-profit marketing with 7 total for marketing. The role lists a range for compensation between $65-70k. Ideally I’d like to make no less than $75k, but am excited for this opportunity.

In your experience, should I try to negotiate up? How should I go about this respectfully? Any tips or thoughts?

How would you approach a situation where your SM has you run with projects on your own for weeks then jumps in the day before it’s due and gives a ton of comments that could have been addressed along the way if you had some help? Seems like there could be more hands on project management to have a better work product but not sure how to start that conversation. I’ve tried status updates frequently and bring up issues as they arise, but having 1 person do multiple projects at once makes it hard.
