SC range is huge. In commercial it could be anywhere from 100k-160k. Higher end are MBA from target schools via campus hiring

Hi, I recently received a job offer of 100k that said their base cap was 95k, should I or can I counteroffer, if so to what would be reasonable? And I've been interviewing with other companies as well and this company isn't my first choice. Can I accept/counter the offer as I see if the companies (of choice) will give me an offer?

Although i already faced client interview and cracked that now new project manger is saying that he will initiate my visa immediately once i get release from my current project now i know that my current project manger is not going to release me early. So a week ago, I asked on this bowl why my application was showing under "Business Review" even though I hadn't had a single interview or call from Citi, today, they sent me an automated email saying thanks for interviewing but the role is no longer available? Has Citi confused me with someone else? So weird! And no way to contact anyone in the HR team....so maybe I'm just going to stop applying to Citi because clearly they are promoting internally and just opening up these jobs as a show 🤷‍♀️

Hi all, looking for some help. I have a dinner tomorrow for a job I am interviewing for. It is the last step in a 2 month process, although more of a “get to know you” dinner than a formal interview. It is a with a partner(female) and a director (male). It is for a consulting company (not big 4). Restaurant seems nice, but not super fancy. Do you think this is appropriate? Trying not to be too business formal, but not too casual either.

My wife was 4 month pregnant when she gave interview at Harman Con. Before interview she clearly communicated same to recruiter and he was fine with that. After interview she got selected and received an offer letter. Which she accepted and put resignation in her current company. to complete 80 days b4 to take pregnancy leave in org she fought hard and negotiated her notice period of 3 months to 45 days only. Now harman is denying to take her onboard. She can't take resignation back. What to do.
