Any suggestions on securing an interview with Apple in Austin in a senior quality manager role? I interviewed with them late last year for a role but didn't make it to offer phase. I've been in quality for over 20 years spanning several industries. Just looking to cut thru the applicant pool if anyone can help. Apple

i’d do it!!!! I think people should wear what ever they want if it’s appropiate. Colors and everything! Fashion is an expression if thyself
Love it!

Thank you! I also have an emerald green nail polish on (short nails though), so I wanted to make sure the whole look wasn’t too bold

The look is bold but if that’s what you want to be known for, go for it!
It’s stylish but it’s just a coat so it’ll be off as soon as you walk in? Sounds like your outfit is grey pants and sweater which TBH sounds casual for a interview

It is gray work pants and a cashmere sweater, so it’s more business casual!

For context, I’m meeting with managers and a VP, but I just wanted to make sure it’s appropriate!

Color is beautiful but I’d be a little just a little concerned about perception

How so?
I love this! professional doesn’t have to mean boring.
Where is this coat from? Love the color!
Love it. I’d be conscious of overheating (I do when nervy) but if you’re happy with the look once you take coat off I think it’s a winner. Bonus for the conservative colors underneath. Good luck!

You’re going to be in pants and a sweater at an interview? It could work if it’s a casual company, if it’s not, you can come off that you are more interested in fashion trends then being professional. If a candidate came dressed like this for a consulting interview, I would include unprofessional demeanor in the debrief session.

The VP herself on the website also wears a nice sweater :) seen a ton of people wear yellow sweaters even in the career/introduction videos. I’m not saying I would be that bold but I already mentioned it’s not a suit and tie company
Perfect
It’s perfect for tech. Please post the brand. I’d love to pick up that coat!

I may switch the sweater for a nice blouse but otherwise you’ll look great. Honestly the better you feel in your clothes the more you’ll kill the interviews, so you do you!
Fair! You got this!!

Love it! I worked in San Francisco/Bay Area for many tech clients. Can def give you more insider tips on the attire sense/culture if you can share company specifics. Good luck.

I don’t know how I feel about grey pants, but coat is cute.
