Have an interview with an AI company next week. Role is in sales. Recruiter suggested i read Prediction Machines since I have a very introductory knowledge of AI/ML. Since there’s limited time, what short books or podcasts/videos would you all recommend in lieu of prediction machines?

Why not buckle down and read the book? Seems like very pointed advice from the recruiter.

Bruh just skim it if you’re so pressed for time.

There’s a TLDR; summary in the Amazon reviews

Get it on Audible. Don't be lazy read the darn thing, at least the first half and listen to the rest. Easy book for business people

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
