Have an interview with CPO in a hotel’s restaurant. Already had an phone interview with the same person. Should I wear a tie ? Or just stick to formals without a tie?

Look this person up on LinkedIn to see how “formal” their background is (eg used to work for a bank or startup), and what they’re wearing in their profile pic, which is a good gauge of what they consider is appropriately professional

Wear the tie. Meals are still interviews and you should treat it as such- even if they show up in shorts.

Thanks guys

Interested in your opinions. Last year I took a government job. Before I was working as an independent consultant and netting more - obviously without pension and benefits though. (Lost work due to pandemic.) With extra medical expenses this year (outside of government insurance) I realize I’m simply not making enough money to do what I want and need to to (medical + travel + investing). Everyone tells me to stay for security and WLB.
