What else can I do in the next 10 days to prep for this? Planning to dedicate 4-5 hours each day

Preparing for interviews and having a tough time doing MECE brainstorming and structuring. It’s like my brain goes blank or thinks narrowly. Any tips or suggestions on how to improve? Currently been using Crafting Cases and Rocket Blocks

Is it ok to reach out and try to connect on LinkedIn with HR folks at agencies I'm interested in applying to, with an opening message? Do they generally reciprocate, find it annoying or ignore them?

My offer letter was released twice because of mismatch in experience by HR.
So my BGC is not scheduled after accepting offer letter 2nd time.

Applied for an internal position Jan 12th. Was told I'm leading candidate 2 weeks ago today. Rec'd an email today from the hiring manager stating their business unit is looking at some restructuring and they are pausing any recruitment processes for at least two weeks. No update for me until then and the job role could be eliminated in the restructure.

It’s Friday night at midnight and I just got out of work. I am new to FPP defense. So far it’s soul crushing. I feel like a robot just doing the same pattern pleadings and discovery over and over. If I try to be creative or ask questions I get the response that I should not recreate the wheel… basically just cut and paste. My brain feels like it’s going to rot doing this work. Looking for some sincere advice. I absolutely bombed a case interview today. I’m defeated. I performed as well as someone with zero preparation after over a month of prep. I seem to always panic, I get disorganized, I’m flustered and lose sight of important relationships in cases. I feel like I need a complete overhaul. Any advice of what has worked to help you change your instincts? I care more about building up my skills and self improvement than I do about doing this for an interview. TIA

McKinsey internal offer. Am level before partner at small boutique firm. Work in tiny but hot area (non-strategy). No desire to make partner as I don’t enjoy selling. Fewer YOE than most at my level. Exp mostly at small companies except for a B4/ACN. No MBA, masters from an Ivy but a less competitive program. Offer is similar to other industry offers in the past but haven’t looked recently. Current TC is on the high end in consulting but have had similar offers.
