If you’re a technical person, Accenture hands down. Audit/Tax are really the only places you want to be at in PwC.
Out of the folks at S& I’ve met, I think I know maybe 6 people who’ve lateraled from PwC - and half of them were in the pre-Booz PwC Strategy practice built out of PR/Diamond. This isn’t to say it’s impossible, and not everyone in Advisory wants to switch, but out of the cases I’ve seen it takes 2+ years of consistent high performance.
Don't join big 4 just because it's "big 4". As someone else mentioned, if it's tech, Accenture is way ahead. If it's more on the MC side, probably go with PwC Based on my experience, PwC understaff projects meaning you'll have to pick up the slack. You'll also have to maintain independence at big 4
I'd say it depends on group. I liked the people in my practice but there was barely any work being sold and one of the projects, people were working 18 hour days
Considering FS Advisory as a whole, we have interesting projects, but our bench is light and we don’t seem to be ramping up the hiring. Also Advisory leadership is having a real tough time figuring out what kind of business we want to be from a cultural standpoint
Worked at both. You can't go wrong with either one honestly (I mean you can but it'd be hard to)
I’m in FS insurance and culture is alright in my opinion. Pretty good for the most part actually. I like more people than I don’t like
