Most consulting firms have pretty strict rules about working outside the firm. Would check to also make sure you are not in violation of your employment agreement with your current firm by doing this.

Depends on the opp but doesn’t sound like you’re willing to share much. Good luck

Is it in the crypto space?

No. Can’t really explain without giving a lot away. More niche/travel type stuff (very different from consulting)

Will the experience be valuable even if you never get paid?

If the answer is "yes" then it might be worthwhile assuming you are not making significant tradeoffs in other areas in order to do this work.

There is a very real possibility that the only thing that you gain is the experience.

Thinking about dropping Amex plat. Don’t see the value of this card at $700 AF.

Is venture x the move? I really liked my CSR, but sign up bonus is only $50K right now.

Primary spend on food, dining etc. Less travel these days since I’ve left consulting, but still looking for a premium credit card…

Options are

1) Keep Amex plat ($550AF with my corp amex)

2) downgrade amex plat to gold ($100AF); get venture x / csr if 100k bonus is back / some other travel card

Anything i’m missing?

Ladies, what do you do when senior management takes credit for your work?

I work under a Director and he's basically the gatekeeper to the Partner, reporting on the entire team's performance.

I recently completed a piece of work and my Director told the client he's "personally working on it" and I later found out he said the same thing to the Partner.

I just don't know how much I'm being recognised for the work I do as everything goes through my Director.

I have an opportunity to move to the EU with my current firm. 25F in NYC. For those who have worked abroad, how has it influenced your work, career trajectory, life, etc? I’m also torn because there’s so much activity in NYC, but know that it’ll be an unforgettable experience working and living abroad. Trying to figure out timing and could use some advice - the good and the bad!

Any suggestions for women's shoes that I can wear for the walk in in winter and not have to change at work?
