Tell them the offer and be honest that you would like to stay but need their help. After the end of the day, we have family to support and bills to pay.
No at the end of the day if they are willing to match the increase it just shows they know they are underpaying / taking advantage of you
It depends where you are compared to other senior and how good you are at work. They may not be able to match the offer but will tell you what they can. Good luck Op
I understand thanks. I do receive good feedback and I am the only sr on every engagement within our practice. Just a little concerned if this will set off any red flags going forward within the firm or cause distrust from management.
