Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.
If HR doesn't fulfill the counter offer, is it ok to accept 12 lpa fixed for Level 9 and when will I get a hike here and how much would it be approximately?
Accenture Please provide your insights. This is my first switch so I ne more exposure

I have gotten four. Two were worthless, one resulted in a $4k financial plan, and another in a $800k account.

CFP is a scam.
CFP just one big prospecting avoidance technique. If one wants to get it late in their career to refine their knowledge that's fine but ultimately it's a fatal distraction from those just starting to build a business
They do a terrible job advertising and gaining anything sustainable. I wonder how much they spent flying around the country to implement "getting input," to their fIduciary rule.
None in 12 months. Resources will always be available. But if you want to know the answers to most of your clients questions, consider the CFP path.
No but I didn't expect that. I hear a lot of negatives about CFP but I found the education wonderful. If you plan to build and follow financial plans for your clients then you should do it. If your just a salesman then don't waist your time, or give the CFP a bad name.
Anyone who rags the CFP designation probably doesn't have it. Talk to experienced CFPs who have succeeded in their careers before you decide.
Best thing I ever did.
Man was contemplating getting the certification. Is it really that bad?
I want the ChFc for my own piece of mind at some point. I'm not convinced that the average client cares about this to be honest though. I've only been asked if I was a CFP once in 10 years.
Never get asked about cfp. Don't see point especially if at a wirehouse and have the resources. Think of all the time spent studying and not prospecting. Ria may be different but still think it makes a difference to such a small group of investors.
I've been in the business for 18 years...really easy to get around the CFP Question...the only people that care are other companies that want to hire you...but not actual clients. They want someone who can make them money and who they can trust.
I have had about 8 since the start of the year.
