Have any of you considered re-vaccinating parents who are visiting the US(or other country) with Pfizer if they’ve gotten covaxin or covishield in India before 6 months?

Yes, please do. Lots of scientific studies coming out on the efficacy of a mRNA booster after one of the attenuated virus vaccines.

like

OP consider getting them just the mRNA booster rather than the full regimen.

I know there was a lot of back and forth on this topic, but the above is now official cdc guidance

This past Wednesday (the 24th), was 3 years of sobriety for me.

In 15 years of weekend binge/blackout drinking, NEVER had I gone more than 3 weeks without a drink (typically never more than 1 weekend without a drink), and now my sobriety is counted in years (though still one day at a time).

I am beyond grateful and I know that this is something I could never do on my own.

I was listening to a podcast for one of the courses I’m taking and thought I’d share some cool stuff about building habits:

- Willpower is not as effective in making a long term change compared to building habits

- Reduce friction (eg much more likely to go to gym if it’s 5 mins away vs 10)

- Take an existing habit and add your new habit onto it

- Use chaos and stressful times to rethink practical decisions

- To break bad habits, add friction (eg phone & charger away at night)
