Yes, we talked about it. The talk went well. He agreed I can stop working if I wanted to.
For lifestyle reasons, I haven’t quit. But work is much more bearable knowing that I DO have the option of walking away at any moment.
My husband and I both agree that life would be so much easier if I stayed home. We’re both exhausted coming home from work and then have to deal with dinner and cleaning and other life things. Money is the only issue and living in an expensive city doesn’t help.
Yes, but when we have kids. I mwan what will i do all day at home without literally having nothing to do
My husband tells me to quit every single day. I hate my job, but I love the live we have. And I know that if I quit we will have to change our life. Now we 95-100% save my salary so we live comfortably on his, but if I quit we will have to adjust the cost to cover my retirement, savings, etc. So I still work.
Have you (or anyone else on the thread that says they still work) considered a reduced work schedule instead?
Thanks, this is what I had heard as well
